Statewide Remodeling’s Gift to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

We received this very nice letter from David Winters in recognition of Statewide Remodeling’s gift to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund:

Intrepid Fallen Heroes FundDear Friends,

Thank you for your very generous gift to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. We very much appreciate your sharing in our mission to support the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund recently completed construction of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, a project dedicated to supporting wounded warriors who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Many of our troops suffer from TBI, from mild to severe, and these injuries sometimes do not manifest themselves for months or even years, and has been called the signature wound of the current conflict. The National Intrepid Center of Excellence is a $60 million facility dedicated to research, diagnosis and treatment of TBI. The Center will be a focal point for the Department of Defense’s efforts in addressing this daunting challenge. The Fund will continue to provide support to our nation’s wounded heroes and their families.

Prior to this effort, the Fund provided close to $20 million in support for families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and more recently designed and built a $50 million advanced physical rehabilitation facility for wounded service members and veterans. This facility, called the Center for the Intrepid, opened in 2007 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. We are grateful for your thoughtfulness and for your remembering Jr service members and their families.

Sincerely,

David Winters
Executive Vice President

We honor and appreciate those who serve our country. Thank you from Statewide Remodeling, Dallas and Austin.

Statewide Remodeling Donates to Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

We are proud to announce that Statewide Remodeling, through our Austin office, has recently donated $6,000 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
The fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces families, and supports the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation and for severely wounded military personnel veterans. These contributions were made in the name of Austin customers of Statewide Remodeling that purchased from us during the period July 4 through September 6, 2010.
It is one of the many ways we feel an obligation to give back to our community, and an honor to support those troops that help protect the freedoms that each of us have in this country. I would like to thank all of our customers for being part of this experience, as we donated $100 of the profits from each job to the fund.
