With the coming of the New Year, I look back at 2011 as a year of great change at Statewide Remodeling.  After the very difficult years of 2009 and 2010, Statewide had an excellent 2011, getting back to the revenue of our banner year of 2007.  We had a record year for the number of installed jobs, and the addition of our new product lines over the last three years created opportunities for many of our previous customers to add additional home improvements through Statewide.

In February, our Austin office moved in to a new office, allowing us to show our full product line for the first time in our beautiful 2300 square foot showroom.  The new 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse space has allowed us to bring in more inventories to service our customers better.  In August, our Dallas office moved in to a new 41,000 sq. ft. space on the north side of DFW airport, allowing us to consolidate our Administrative and Production offices under one roof for the first time in seven years.  The increased efficiency of this new location has been evident from the beginning of our move.  Our new 5,000 sq. ft. showroom allows customers to come in and see full sized displays of all of our product line, as well as having selection centers for our bathroom and kitchen divisions.

We look forward to an even better 2012, with expansion of our market area in to San Antonio and Houston.  I would like to thank all of the Statewide Remodeling associates for their dedication and hard work for making our business successful, and to our over 25,000 customers for allowing us to work on their homes.  I am proud of the fact we received the Consumers’ Choice Award for all four of our product lines for the sixth straight year, and are rated as one of the top 25 home improvement companies in America by both Qualified Remodeling and Remodeling Magazine.  We couldn’t have done it without you, our customers.

President’s Letter

statewide remodeling president rob levinI am happy to report that so far in 2011, Statewide Remodeling is having a banner year!  The lethargy in the economy seems to have turned around, and homeowners are making the decision to go ahead and improve the homes they live in.

Many of our new products have led the way in the turn around, particularly our Bath Remodeling, Safe Step Walk in Tubs and Energy Retrofit divisions.  All of these divisions have been added in the last three years, as the company has focused on addressing products that meet the demand of our changing population.  Energy conservation is here to stay, and is the one home improvement every homeowner needs to address.  The extended life span of our nation led us in to the Walk in Tub business and the numerous Bath to Shower conversions, and many customers are addressing the need to update their bathrooms.  I would especially like to extend our thanks to our previous customers that have taken advantage of these additions to our product line.

As Statewide Remodeling enters our 17th year in business, one of the biggest pieces of news is that both of our locations are moving in to larger facilities in 2011 to better service our customers.  In February, Austin moved from their previous 6,000 square foot facility on Braker Lane, to a new 16,000 square foot facility at the corner of Rutland and Metric Roads, including a 2,000 square foot showroom to show all of our products. In August, our two Dallas facilities will be merging in to one office at the intersection of HWY 114 and HWY 121 in Grapevine.  This new 41,000 square foot facility will include a 5,000 square foot showroom, all of our corporate and production facilities and a larger warehouse in which to stock all of our products.

We appreciate the trust our over 24,000 customers have put in Statewide Remodeling to improve their homes, and invite everyone to visit our new facilities to see our full product line.
