Every homeowner has dreamed of a larger kitchen, and that’s exactly what we were able to give to this homeowner in Buda, Texas. During this remodel, we were able to move the laundry room into the garage to expand the size of the kitchen.

In order to accomplish this, new walls and a new foundation were built in the garage to form a new laundry room. The original laundry room walls adjacent to the kitchen were removed and the arched doorway leading into the kitchen from the hallway was expanded. Also, all the plumbing had to be moved from their original location into the new laundry room requiring extensive foundation work. One very interesting addition was the addition of a “hidden” door leading into the laundry room from the hallway.

Project Details: Statewide Remodeling redid and brought up code all electrical work, as well as retexturing and repainting all affected walls.

We worked with the homeowner to choose the new cabinetry and countertops to fit the increased size of the kitchen. We think that this homeowner’s choice was excellent, and they will always stay this way with their lifetime warranty.

Project Details: Statewide Remodeling removed and replaced all countertops, cabinets, and backsplash.

One very interesting addition was the addition of a “hidden” door leading into the laundry room from the hallway. The door itself is a bookshelf with hidden hinges.
